Malik belongs in a 3-4 Defense that doesnt care if you consistently show up or not. No thanks

Why draft a 300 lb interior d lineman when we are deep there? Rankins, Jordan, Fairley, Davison, Onyemata...

That pick doesn't make sense for us at 32 or 43.

Honestly I think McDowell has the ability to play a big end in a 43. I just think we need a speed end.

I agree. I like McDowell, just not for what we need.

He's gonna go early second though. We need a speedy guy on the other end

Riley probably won't be there in the third according to everyones revised mocks but I would love him. My guess is Offense with our 1st 3rd, an offensive weapon.

That's what people don't get about that pick. We would be going RT in the first round next year if we didn't this year.

Yes and God willing that pick will be late in the 1st round and your ability to get a Top OT at the end of the 1st round two years in a row is probably historically low. Would not be surprised if the top 2 OTs were not off the board by the 20th pick next year.

t's pretty simple. You are camped out waiting for your pick at 32. Suddenly 6 of the 7 preceding picks are all defense, but Foster is still there and you don't see Seattle taking him. Then the 9ers blow you up and you have 10 minutes to pivot.

You can go edge rusher but it would be a reach here. Most of those guys will still be there at 43. Same can be said for other needs like corner and ilb. You can try to trade back, but there is literally no time to find a partner who won't ream you for your desperation. What do you do? You have 10 minutes to react. Tick, tock...

What other needs do you have? Tackle. The number one rated lineman is still on the board. It ends up being the smart, safe move. You can still get your edge rusher at 43.

Fans won't like it because they don't understand Jack shite about how dynamic the draft is and how teams really scout, but the Saints got cock blocked by the 9ers and made the absolute best out of it.

This guy gets it.

Thanks. Malik is not as good athlete then. He's still pretty damn good though, especially for being 10-15lbs heavier and 2 inches taller.
