Why would you want anyone besides Dennis Allen for HC?

DA becoming HC means that we have as little turnover as possible. He’s proven that he’s an elite DC, why can’t be be a good decision maker as well? NOLA is one of the most successful franchises of the past 20 years, why change what’s working?

He's gotta be the favorite but you still do your due diligence and interview other candidates. especially the younger OCs

Because at the end of the day it’s an league where qb/offense is going to give you the best shot to win championships.
If one of these young OCs can partner with a draft pick or a guy like Jameis and have an elite offense you’re going to do very well, even with just a complimentary defense.

Just to be devil's advocate, remember how every season the first two or three weeks the defense looks like shite before finally getting it together, well hiring him would be putting the person in charge of the defense in charge of the entire team.
I would be happy with DA but just saying it isn't the craziest idea to put out all the feelers possible.

Someone being a head coach in an organization setup for success will do better than going to a team who fired their coach and sucks.

Everyone who follows the nfl closely knows offense is more valuable than defense to win at the elite level these days. And good luck getting an elite qb with a defensive head coach. Get daboll
