Our D really needs to carry us right now and if we can make the playoffs we will need him to win the super bowl. Right now we may be the most appealing option for the Jags because of the potential of a better draft pick due to drew being out. Offer them next year's 1st, Apple and 2021 2nd. If that's not enough go ahead and offer the 2021 1st. I know it's a lot but he is a guarantee elite player right now vs us taking a chance on a player. With him and Lattimore our D will be as solid as any in the league for years to come. As a bonus, we keep him from going to a team that we may need to beat in the playoffs.

It’d be nice to put Lattimore on the #2 receiver since he’s been struggling a bit.

I almost put that in as well. We would have the best duo in the league. The next two years is our last window with drew. We are in win now mode. This is a monster move that would pay off big time if we face kc or the patriots in the sb.

PP is the past Ramsey is the future. Also, we can't get PP this year but we can get Ramsey. Just think how much better you will feel with him and Lat when we face the elite offenses especially in the playoffs.

It's too big of a risk. We don't know when or if Brees will be back or how the backup QB's will do. It is a real possibility the Saints tank out and end up with a top 10 or even top 5 draft position. If that happens, and they've traded away their 1st and 2nd round picks, that would be a hard pill to swallow and some heads would need to roll. You just can't do it now.

Some team is going to offer something like that to get him. If it's a team that we end up having to play to get to or win a Superbowl we will regret not getting him.

Yeah it would be nice to trade for him and have him on the other side with Lattimore but I thi k we need to keep our 1st round draft pick and maybe get our future QB

we currently don't know if our Hall of fame QB will even be back next year with an expiring contract and him turning 41 years old. Now is not the time to be trading draft capital on a player due for a new contract that will probably make him the highest paid CB in the league in two years.

would not do it for any more than a second round pick.

Yea, they only trade the draft picks for trash like Davenport, Bridgewater and Apple, not actual good players.

The only reason you dont go after him is because you need the draft capital to get Drews replacement.

Well I see Jamal Adams isn’t happy either. He’s more than capable of moving to the CB role if need be. I’d rather him than Ramsey.

A locker room cancer for 2 first round picks is beyond stupid.

Way to much to give up for a bad attitude player.

Dude. Adams is an in box safety with decent, not great, cover skills. If you put him on the outside against NFL wide receivers he’d get destroyed.

both third and lower you'll need way more to get ramsey

Davenport

4-5 years of a rookie contract vs 1/2 year and a 13.5 million dollar option next year. False equivalency is strong in this one. I swear i firmly believe most NFL fans knowledge of how the league works stops at playing Madden.

A. They are looking for 2 #1 draft picks, so 2020 and 2021. It might not take that but it will be at least 1 and a 3rd.

B. He only has this year left on contract.

C. Said he will not sign a deal now. So there is no chance for Jax to offer a contract and then trade that would be beneficial to his future team.

D. He has said that there will be no hometown discount for his current team.

E. He is looking for 15 million per season and given the market will get it.

So it would be two high picks for 12-13 games.

I've been all in the last few years with "going all in" with draft picks but with this Brees injury and the uncertainty of Bridgewater/Hill, i think we absolutely need to hold on to our first rd pick for next year. This is looking to be a decent QB class and might be in a position to take one in the 1st and have that 5th year option on a rookie contract.
