Why the hell were we pressing?

Pressing corners just lost us the game.

Mike Evans beat the press multiple times going down the field. I’m not talking just the last play.

We were playing to try and prevent them from having an easy shot at a FG. Problem is, it backfired and they went over our heads for a deep TD throw.

Well, you should have said that then.
Besides, 3 picks that should have been 4 with 2 sacks, 5 qb hits and 7 pressures is a pretty good outing for the secondary. When you throw 50 times the stats take care of themselves, but he didn't have a td pass until the last play of the game.
They picked on PJ and Crawley some, but in reality we are one pass breakup from winning and in that play, we absolutely needed to be in press man coverage.
I blame the offense more than anything. They were not up to par tonight.

bingo!
if they had to have a TD we would have played cover 2 zone under and defended goal line only. come up tackle and watch clock tick away.
should have blitzed a play or two. now if we were up 3 or more then no.
