The club said they had "warned" the Professional Game Match Officials Board (PGMOL) that "the VAR is a Luton fan but they didn't change him". "Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept," the club said on X.

Meanwhile Saints did nothing except beg its fans not to file lawsuits. Why?

The NFL is one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. They'll take your franchise from you if you cause enough ripples.

Yeah, English soccer is a completely different world than the NFL.

The very least we should have done was hang an NFC Champs banner. Put it in writing that we were the first NFC champions to be passed over in favor of the runner up.

You mean the hands to the face INT?

I know he missed the most important throw to MT(never should have thrown anyway) but they fricked us again in OT. Should have been auto 1st.

We were robbed of a Super Bowl and the organization did nothing.

NFL teams are franchises. EPL teams are clubs. They are governed by different rules. If the saints were to have said something there would be severe consequences. Ask Sean Peyton with bounty gate

I’m just pointing out a story that’s draws parallels to the no call. I’m over the call but not how the Saints rolled over.

What do you think Nottingham Forrest is going to accomplish?

Yep. I think this needs to change - I just don’t see how there can be fair competition when each team is part of the same corporation.
