Why are we running the play clock down to 1 or 0?

Killing clock, reading the defense, etc.

It's even on plays when we aren't bleeding clock though.

Because Payton wants the young quarterback to overthink things on sideline forever. Then the more we eat clock the more Goff thinks they have to make a play.

When you snap the ball at :01 every play the d-line gets a better jump. It’s not rocket science. Need to cut that shite out

It matters when the defense has a clue on when he's going to snap the ball.
