People don’t seem to get the fact that we had leverage.
The Broncos had to hire a coach NOW. We could wait until next year.

Payton will probably "retire" from the broncos before Wilson's contract is up. He wants his legacy to be this offensive guru/quarterback whisperer. Before he tarnishes his so called legacy he will quit. And if he wins, it doesn't say much for him, going to a team that is built to win a Superbowl and actually winning some games
