Allen still sucks and should be fired along with the entire staff, but people letting their hate for Allen cloud their judgment of pathetic players doing such a disrespectful thing on so many levels is just sad.

The respect was lost long before that play yesterday. I understand that should never happen, but it shows you how Jameis and the rest of the guys in that locker room felt. It was more than two who participated. It was everyone on that field at the time. So do you get rid of the whole unit? Or do you question where the issues stem from and fix it? Don't condone it just saying there's much bigger problems than a few rogue players.

I understand both sides of it but
#1 if the players came to Allen and asked him to run a play for Williams then he should have

The players would have more respect if they told Atlanta exactly why they were going to do and where they were going to run it. Be Men and earn the TD if you want it that bad. Instead the finished as cheap shot players.

Why did Williams deserve a TD?

It goes both ways jackass.you have to question why they did it. If the answer is no respect, the caoch should be fired.

The only reason Dennis Allen didn't want them to try to get Williams that last TD was because he KNOWS he will be looking for another job soon and was trying to appease future employers. And then apologizing to the whiny, crybaby Dirty Birds coach? Same reason.
It's football. You try to score. Since the Dirty Birds were trying to score while hopelessly down 41-17 in the last 2 minutes of the last game of the season with no hope of making the playoffs, then we should try to score if we have the ball. They were putting our players at risk. So there.
And for those people who complain we were running up the score, apparently you don't remember 62-10. I never heard ONE Saints fan complain about the Falcons running up the score then, only Saints fans upset at how pitiful our team was.
As one poster said, the NFL is entertainment, and...
Yes, Maximus! I was entertained!

well considering how shitty of gameplans called all year by PC, and allowed to occur by DA - I am actually ok with them saying frick you and doing it themselves.
