he won't bolt. or at least i have to believe that.
but seriously, it's not a bad idea to bring in another guy for the future. but i wouldn't waste a draft pick lower than the 7th round on one.
i know it sounds like a homer pick, but Jarrett lee is a kid with talent, he's worked hard every year at lsu. getting better in shape, doing whatever he can to help the team. he wont go until round 7, if at all next year probably. just a project guy, ala Matt Flynn to green bay.

yeah, the last pick lower than the 7th Rd worth anything was Toi Cook. I could see Jarrett Lee in the 8th Rd.

If Gabbert were to fall in the first and was there at 24, I would not complain if we draft and develop him into Brees' eventual successor.
