When was the last time the Saints future looked so bleak?

2005 comes to mind with the post-Katrina saints potentially being relocated. But from a football operation I’d rather be in that position where they went into a full rebuild. It feels like there is no light at the end of this tunnel with current ownership/leadership.

I wish old saints fans like me weren’t so accepting of mediocrity. Pointing to the old days of being horrible doesnt make being mediocre acceptable. I had season tickets to the 3 win seasons too and I’m not okay with perpetual 8 win “we’ll make the playoff next year” seasons. Have some pride. Saints don’t have to be losers anymore.
