I mean, I wish Payton would've moved up for Mahomes. Lattimore did turn out to be a decent pick but the Saints probably would've won a couple more Super Bowls by now if they drafted Mahomes. All of the talk came out that Payton wanted Mahomes and then Kansas City moved up to #10 to draft ahead of us at #11.

Was it really because Sean loved those guys because they reminded him of himself? That’s so goofy if true. That’s got to just be a rumor.

Is this how you felt at that time? The majority of fans were happy getting Lattimore since CB was a big position of need and he was projected to go 5th to the Titans by many. Also when that piece came out about how we were gonna take Mahomes if he was there, most of us at the time were pretty relieved KC traded up ahead of us.

You crazy if anybody thought Tom Brady would turn out to be the GOAT, hell Bill a tell you he didn't.
