I didn't say best. I've never seen a defensive player just make so many plays.

That year off really messed up people's perception of him
He was a dominant player

Sure did. I hope to god he's not in our division if we don't get him.

Dude is going to be a monster when he gets in the NFL. His versatility almost guarantees he'll find a niche somewhere in this league.
Anyone who says he wouldn't be an asset to this team (or any team for that matter) immediately needs to get over it and move on. If we get a chance to get him in the 4th (and assuming he's still available) and we pass, I will be sick. I will be even sicker if I have to watch him make plays against us.

Oh, and in response to the OP about TM7 playing for ATL. I don't wish any player badly, especially those LSU athletes. Only wish I have on game day is that the Saints have more points than the other team at the end of the game.

how did he do against Geno Smith and Ryan Tannehill?

He is an early third rounder could go late second or late 3rd but he's not going to be available in round 4

I agree. I still think he is a luxury compared to our needs at OLB and LT.

If he is there at our third round pick, I will be devastated if we don't pick him.

There's a good chance that you will be devastated.
I wouldn't be surprised if he were picked, and I think he'd be an asset with his play-making ability, just don't see it happening. He really does need to get away from here also.

Falcons? I'm afraid so...

Too many old friends here, too much pressure to be a football god here.

Nothing to do with weed. It's about staying around the people and culture that helped him get in trouble in the first place. Guy was a good college player, but some people need to lose their hard on for him.

Why is it so hard to believe that TM7 could be someone's favorite college football player?
His sophomore season included:
- Defensive Player of the Year
- A larger than life persona
- More game-changing plays on special teams and defense than most significant, offensive, skill position players will make in their entire careers
- A trip to NY for the Heisman
- Best player on a 13-0 regular season team
The kid was an electrifying tiny-terror that brought an underdog team to the brink of being considered one of the greatest teams of all-time.
