Everyone says we need a safety from us to the draft gurus. I think we tend to forget about IQ the undrafted FA we picked up. Small school kid that came in an impressed in our limited off season. Towards the end of the year he got more playing time and seemed somewhat impressive when he was in there. With a full off season and training camp I think he has a good chance to come in and push or supplant the Neck.

that, and Quddus wasn't too bad.
I still think Jenkins and Harper can be a pretty good Safety duo in the right system.
Give us a damn pass rush, though.

Why does this keep coming up?
We are not better suited for the 34. We have a lot more d-line talent /depth than we do at LB.
Vilmas on the decline, Shanle is horrible, Herron or whatever his name is was a waste.

I agree that we don't have the right line backer's for 3-4. The 3-4 kind of makes a lb's job easier though. It's actually better for teams with awesome lineman, and then average lb's. You just got to have one freak olb to make it work right.
