Loomis failed again

We would've had to give up at least next year's 2 for a bum like Dart so thank God Loomis "failed".

So we got out bid on a alleged attempt to get back in the first to get allegedly Dart. What's the reason for the melt? No one wants to get fleeced...well unless your Jacksonville lol

I was only answering the question of the new coach wanting his own QB besides the 2 backup QBs we picked the last 2 consecutive years.

He wanted Dart and Loomis couldn’t get it done.

Draft compensation for a trade is another discussion.

Rattler

if he sucks

Say what?

He's absolutely fricking awful at almost everything.

I don't see NFL level at any part of his game. He shouldn't even be a backup, based on everything he has ever shown.

There is no melt

Personally, I think the QBs in this draft are not worthy of high draft picks…. I wish it were otherwise.

Same here. Maybe a QB CKM wants later but he knows it's not a guarantee to get unless you over pay.

Not really. There's not another reason why another team was able to pull off the trade but we weren't. Thankfully he didn't overpay.

Let me say again….a coach wanting a specific player and draft trade compensation are separate matters.

1) The coach wanted Dart… that’s one matter.

2) The GM not being able to trade back into the 1st rd because the trade price was too high… is a second separate matter.

Unless you have a qb , none of it really matters . You draft an qb every year until you have THE qb.

So you want to say Loomis failed but don't want to bring up why.

Spencer Rattler showed you why it matters last season. There was nothing around him so he didn't stand a chance.

Qbs drafted after the 1st rd the last decade has only produced 3 starters. Hurts, Dak, Purdy. After them it's Gardiner Minshew, Josh Dobbs or Mason Rudolph. That's 3 good out of 50+. You're most likely just flushing picks and we definitely can't afford to do that in the top 100 picks.

What are the odds we draft a franchise quarterback, if we never draft a qb?

0 but I didn't say never draft qb. Just said drafting mid rd qbs every year on a team lacking talent all over is wasteful.

Rumor has it Jags offered another 1st round pick to make sure Cleveland accepts the trade.
