Is there any greater fear inducing coach than Bum Jr.?



"We have confidence in our football team," Phillips said, per Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com. "We're not going to cow down to these guys. We think we can win. Every game we've been in so far, we thought we could win. I believe we feel the same way going into this one."

Of course, every team thinks it can win every game. The difference between the Cowboys and the Saints is that the Saints have won every game this year.

Still, Phillips says he thinks he has the kind of team that will rise to the occasion.

"Usually when people say you can't do something, people bow up and have a lot of pride," Phillips said. "I think it helps. I don't think our confidence is we can't do it and we got to do something else to be able to do it."

Phillips isn't usually the type to talk big heading into big games. But considering that he likely won't have a job in January without some big December wins, maybe he thinks it's time to pull out all the stops.
