More importantly for Saints fans is why the frick didn't ATL re-sign him at 4mil/1yr?!?! He's not great in pass coverage but great in run coverage. We're thin as shite at LBer (ILB and OLB) and we just let him walk.
Side note, we have 32+ mil. sitting there, doing nothing. I don't want to overpay for Suh and others but the guy was already on the team.

Yea, that is weird. I have a feeling Quinn wanted to gut the team and bring in as many as his own guys as possible.
