Just do it Saints. Do it. He would make the biggest impact to the saints becoming a force to make it to the super bowl. MAYBE trade down and get cushing, but Beanie would make the biggest impact to this team. IMO.

Says the guy with "Have you been high today."

No I have not been high today.

And No to Wells

He was supposed to make a big impact too. There are too many quality backs available in later rounds to draft one in round 1 IMO.

Okay I am going to get slammed for this..the saints are going to trade down. They are going to select Moreno and with the second round pick they are going to pick up a DE/OLB. If they can not trade the pick they will target Robert Ayers from Tenn. to give us rotation at DE and with the possible supensions of Will Smith and Charles Grant this makes sense.

As long as Jenkins is not on the board. Your senerio is very reasonable.

malcomn jenkins is a the target of the Saints and if he is selected before the 14th selection then the scenario goes into play.

I wouldn't mind have Ricky back either. I know a lot of people still have his jersey, they could breakum' out and wear them to the games.

see Ricky run will be the headlines this year now that he's gotten back on track, no one runs better when he's focused.

I hope and pray we draft Wells. Payton had better refind his big back, for his best year here has been when he had a back who could move the pile and keep the opposing teeams offense off the field.

YEAR ONE:
1,000 yard rusher in Deuce McCallister
NFC SOUTH CHAMPS, ONE GAME AWAY FROM SUPERBOWL
Defense ranked 19th in total defense

YEAR TWO:
Deuce injured, under .500 NO PLAYOFFS! Defense drops 5 spots in total defense

YEAR THREE:
Deuce not the same, not used NO PLAYOFFS!Defense again drops in rankings leading to firing of defensive coordinator

Yeah you bums go ahead and keep wishing for a FS/CB hybrid. I'll leave you with this statement:

"If you don't learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it".

ALEX MOLDER OVER........EDDIE GEORGE!

We take Jenkins over Wells, we will be repeating history.

If Knowshon is on the board, take Moreno. He is a far better back than Bennie.

Beanie man, get the mans name correct, and they are different type of backs, I wouldn't say he is better.

Even if we don't take beanie, we NEED the big back. That is our biggest concern right now IMO. We have to complete our offense to have a chance at a superbowl win.

Beanie Wells hits that pile at 230,240, whatever he is, he's going to move it, no matter what the naysayers say, they say that's not his style, but it's not Morenos either, so I don't understand all the love for Moreno.
