We would’ve had a top 10 pick this year, and we easily could’ve lost another couple games to send us further up. Wouldn’t be hard to be worse than this past season

Why both? I like Carr, but if you draft Hooker in the 3rd round or higher, you roll with him. He is 25 years old, its not like he needs to gain experience watching Carr. If he balls out/shows promise, you build with him in the '24 draft. If he fails, cut bait and go QB in '24.
The problem is Allen needs to win to keep his job. He is not going to be interested in going with a rookie QB in his career path year.
