I did think there were two places to start him, week 5 or after the bye.
I was not a Shough fan pre-draft but if you're using the 40th pick he has to play at some point.
I don't see it with Rattler, its smoke and mirrors. He doesn't make mistakes but he doesn't do anything else.
Clearly CKM prefers that for now and would rather a guy that doesn't lose the game for him

Actually drafting a guy at 40 is the real mistake here

lol, that's horrible reasoning... shough isn't competing with 2024 rattler. He's competing with 2025 rattler, who is middle of the pack. This certainly isn't a ringing endorsement for rattler, and it isn't for shough, who can't unseat him, but at least be fair.

I didn’t know Shough was a time traveler in order to compete with 2025 Rattler for the starting job
He lost the starting job to 0-5, 57% completing, 4 TD 5 INT, 2024 worst QB in the NFL Rattler
He’s now unable to unseat 1-4, bottom 10 QB in the league 2025 Rattler
That is just facts. Nothing unfair about it

Looking at this tells me either he or Moore is telling him to don't turn the ball over. It would be a whole lot easier to judge rattler if we knew the answer to this. Still though, I think rattler is about where you'd expect a qb that doesn't have a full season of starts yet.

Now don't get me wrong, I wanna see shough play Sunday. While I think rattler is a decent qb, I want more than that. I think we will see shough pretty soon unless rattler steps it up a notch. In the end, I expect we draft a qb top 5.
