True or False: Someone should be fired if SJB doesn't start next week

Either for not playing him to see if he's worth anything in a game that means NOTHING or for drafting a guy in the 2nd rd who's so bad he's a DNP-CD for all but 8 plays all year.

No reason not to see what he can do. Also no reason to risk Lewis's health, especially when he's already been banged up for a lot of the season.

drafting a player in the 2nd round who is such a project he's not even good enough to be active on gamedays for a team that's built to win Super Bowls NOW is a fireable offense IMHO

The fact that Dixon and Frederick saw time over him is a pretty terrible indictment. If you're 2nd rounder hasn't seen the field basically at all this season and he's been perfectly healthy, that's a huge miss.

I wish there was any sort of comeuppance for stupid shite players and coaches do. This was a huge miss. How does that happen when people's entire life/job it is to evaluate players?

Not calling it a huge miss unless he gets cut from the team before the start of next season.
But I hope/pray the Saints have learned to start drafting players who can come in and play; not any of these project players we fall in love with.

This is why the Saints are so "good" at finding undrafted free agents. Because they keep drafting Antonio Pittmans, Martez Wilsons and Stanley Jean-Baptistes.

Right now he's one of those guys that we trade to another team in the 2016 offseason to another team for their crap draft pick bust and neither guy makes it out of training camp. Like we did with Courtney Watson and Jonathan Sullivan.
