If you read that cap article in the other thread, it actually hurts us trading him. We are in so bad shape cap wise it’s better to hang onto him for the restructures. Almost needed to this point.
A team actually has to give us good value if they want him. That means a 3rd or greater. Nothing less then you hang onto him.
Chase young has to go. He can save us almost 5 million on the cap next year by trading him now.

We can’t have him on the books for next season though. We save $18mm by trading him, we need that money.

You sure? thought he signed a 1yr/$13M deal, so he would be a free agent at the end of this year, and if he then signs elsewhere we could potentially get a compensatory pick?
