This is who most of us picked in the mocks - Olave and Penning

Yeah we had to trade up for Olave but honestly they saw a run of WRs that most of us didn’t see coming. This is was an ideal first round for us. Great job by the FO

Anyone who doesn’t like our draft will be eating crow come September/October. Both Olave and Penning will be major contributors to our playoff run this year.

I have to give props to the FO on this one. I thought a WR would be there at 16 but the fact is that there wouldn’t have been. So the foresight for them to trade up was absolutely clutch.

Indeed. I observed quite a number of mocks which predicted the 1st Round Penning/Olave combination. I initially hated the trade up to take Olave. But given what we know now, I'll give Loomis the benefit of the doubt.

Absolutely agree.
3rd and 4th round picks may not be guaranteed starters. Olave and Penning are. Worth it.

Thats what scares me the most. This board doesnt have a good track record on draft prospects
