The feeling of the game changed for me on the fake punt

Up 13-0 and about to get the ball back, I had full confidence in the saints controlling the game and the clock - even though momentum swung back and forth late in the game - even with the Saints being ripped - that fake punt on their own 25-30 yard line gave me an uneasy feeling the rest of the game, just a sixth sense when that happened that I thought the saints might be done one way or another

You knew at that moment that we would have the game stolen from us at the end of the fourth? Hats quite clairvoyant. What’s the stock market going to do Friday?

That also kept the Saints to only 2 second quarter possessions.

It was without a doubt a turning point in the game.

Before that play, it felt like the rout was on. After that play, the Saints blowout seemed to dissipate and things slowly crept back towards a more competitive game.

I’d also say the Rams drive before half was a huge turning point.

It’s just a feeling like today isn’t going to be your day. Gave the rams momentum. The call was bogus - but I’m also not going to pin the entire season and everything on it - when you don’t take of business and let others determine your fate you’ll always get screwed. Saints should’ve run the ball 3x and kicked a field goal and gave it to the rams with 28-35 seconds left. Also I hated the Taysom Hill experiment from the start - that drive with 1st and 10 at midfield where he fumbled to kamara and then we punted was also a huge wasted possession - saints can cry foul all day which is true they got cheated, but also shouldn’t have let it come down to that one play is the truth no one wants to admit

Just had a bad feeling when Rams got life on that fake

It was just like the week before, with the Eagles game. Philly had a 14-0 lead and all the momentum...and the Saints turned it with their fake.

I gotta give McVay credit. He had some brass ones to call that.

Maybe I missed something...but it looked like at least once (maybe twice) he could have had a huge gain around the end had he kept the ball instead of handing it off.

I’m just a believer you don’t ever take a possession or the ball away from Drew Brees under center, especially in a game to go to the super bowl

There's certainly an argument to be made there, especially in the red zone.

I like CSP but sometimes, the one coach that can outsmart him...is himself.

Incredible that Hardee was not at all ready for it. This team loves to run fakes
