Definitely not to the point that I don't think we can beat them on our best day and their best day.

We're certainly good enough to beat them and it wouldn't even be a huge surprise if we beat them.

But there isn't a team that can beat KC at their best.

Shel do you agree that the saints, defensively, probably have the best matchup for beating KC?

A dominant front 4 and athletic and versatile back 7

Well they scare the crap out of me. Even getting pressure on Mahomes doesn't stop him from hurting you.

He was very inefficient yesterday for his standards.

Defense played really well considering the opponent. Offense didn’t help them out early on. Put them in bad situations and kept them on the field too much. They fatigued in the second half but still kept fighting. Needed to get off the field a couple of those third downs and had a few chance at some turnovers that they missed but overall can’t ask for much better than what you got. They kept us in a position to win the game.

We matched up pretty well but no defense gives the chiefs fits like the Chargers do. They can never pull out the win but the consistently keeps the score pretty low and have chiefs on the ropes a lot

Yet we are talking like only our offense can play better and get healthier

I disagree due to what I believe our defense is capable of.

For all of y’all that believe this was a good showing by the Chiefs offense, then y’all are crazy! They dropped a lot of balls, and this was one of their most conservative game plans this year. When the Chiefs really wanted to score, they proved that against the Saints.

Plus this was a great game by the Saints defensive line. Yet Mahomes still was able to scramble and extend plays. The Saints will not be able to generate that much rush against them next time, if that happens

I honestly can't answer just due to lack of knowledge on how other teams stack up specifically with dominant front 4s, but I certainly agree that we're right up there with any of the best teams.

The only way to beat/slow down a team like KC is to get pressure without blitzing, and we can do that. Mahomes definitely wasn't his normal dominant self yesterday.

Said the same thing. If we had half a pulse in the 1st quarter I feel like we would’ve won. Thomas and Harris would also have made a huge difference.

Like when Patrick keep looking to throw it down field on almost every play. Man gtfo, if we had and average game on offense we have the ball 30 minutes. Chiefs don’t score 32 if they don’t hold the ball 42 minutes.
Also keeps our defense fresh to knock his arse around. He is really good but we can beat them if Drew has a great game also. We need our whole team to play them.

Win a road game in Green Bay and get back to us. Don't put the damn cart before the horse...

3rd down percentage

This is all you need to look at. And the reason is you need quality WR play on this down which we lacked. You think it was just a bad day at the office on 3rd down? Man, if we had Thomas I have no doubt we converted waaaay more 3rd downs and sustained some drives.
