That was Drew's best chance to get back to the SB

After 7-9 3 straight years things fell in place this season.

Drew played like an all-time great and carried us in the 2nd half. That was going to be a signature game for a HOF career, and one play/player took it all away. I feel awful. I feel awful for the rest of you and for the Saints players, but especially for Drew, who has spent his career in the shadow of Brady and Manning. He had a chance to win a 2nd title and finally take his place next to them. This is the worst loss as a fan in my life.

It's 10x worse than the San Fran loss

25 seconds. Couldn't get a stop. I'll never get over this loss. Ever. It makes me not want to watch football anymore

He still has a couple of more good chances the next couple of seasons, or at least I want to believe that. That man deserves more super bowls

If the play/situation wasn't heartbreaking enough, this key point just ramps it up another 30 notches.

This one hurts.

Why was this Drew’s best chance to get back to a Super Bowl? He’d have a much better chance if the Saints were to have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Yep, I want to believe it, and he certainly can do it.

But there's also a chance that Father time catches up to him soon...and that makes me sad.

I think he deserves to be up there next to him for his career as a whole. But this one really stings

This is worse than Carney shanking the xp after the miracle against the jags. Worse than Culpeper going for 2 and knocking us out the playoffs before we got there. Worse than SF when we know we would have skull fricked Eli in the dome.

This is just sad.

Let me drop some knowledge. It was a great run this year. But we weren't overcoming the injuries that were stacking up. We may have made it back to the SB, but in now way did we have a chance.

We are young, fierce, and will be good for the next few years. Just have to shore up the line for Armstead and keep chugging. We are close.

Lol, so we could beat Carolina and Minnesota but not NE or the Jags?
