we definitely had the game, and should have won but the skins are now 3-1.

They have won three straight including a win over "the best team in the NFC" in dallas.

Not to mention, their loss came against the 3-0 super bowl champion Giants by 9 points.

This aint college football, it doesn't matter how our loss looked, all that matters is we lost.

+1.

They should have won it. No excuses. I don't care how good they look right now. Denver lost to KC yesterday. Do the Saints look bad because of it now? Should have won that one too.

funny b/c it pisses me off more and more each week, and each time Deuce moved the pile 3 etra yards yesterday my face got that much redder.

we should be 4-0

a loss never makes me happy. it would've been better if we had won and they beat the media darlings that is the cowboys.

I agree if Payton plays Deuce were 4-0

Tell me about it. Absolutely sickening. We should be at least 3-1 and maybe 4-0. Defense played 3 good quartyers in Washington then them and the offense choked in the 4th, Hell the o choked all game long in that one.

I wonder how stupid payton feels after witnesing what we saw with Deuce yesterady? And how that woulda played out in Washington and Denver.

Who's to say that he was as healthy last week or two weeks ago as he is now? I'm as happy as anyone that he's back, but I think Payton certainly had to err on the side of caution regarding Deuce given his injury history.

I may be a sad optimist, but I look at it this way: we've shown the power running game, we still don't have all our offensive weapons, and when we do, we have the possibility of having the more dynamic offenses in the league.

Actually that loss is looking worse every week. Our division is going to be tough this year, and the Saints might be looking to enter the playoffs with a wildcard. That loss to Washington will be a real killer if the Saints end up tied with them at the end of the year. I really hope the Redskins start losing because of this situation. It's also bad anytime the Saints have an NFC loss because of tie-breaker implications.

Are you stupid? Or just had a brain freeze? Say for instance the Skins/Saints end in a tie for a playoff spot?

Damn some folks just got to delude themselves any way possible

I agree it's worse. The games we could and should have won are worse.

Run out the clock and you win... Run the Duce, get on the plane, and fly to Denver.

i'm not sayin the loss is good. like i said, we should have won and it sucks that we didn't. i get pissed thinkin about it too (as well as the denver game).

my point was that we didn't lose to a bad team. they look like a good team now, and that everyone melting down cause we lost to the shitty redskins was a little premature.

also, its a little too early to worry about the wildcard picture, imo.

Washington and Denver are history, nothing can be done about them now.

The Saints are 2 - 2 after playing 4 teams with records of .500 or better. They've done so with a boatload of injuries that would affect even the best NFL teams. One of those wins came again a division rival, which could be a key factor in any tiebreaker scenarios down the road.

At the end of the day, the Saints could be in a far worse position than they are now. There's still 3 /4 of the season to be played and barring another rash of injuries, the Saints will be very dangerous when their presently injured players still coming back.

I'm very optimistic yet. That is all.
