Taysom Hill underutilized !

I assume Taysom is a decent passer ? If so , he is woefully under utilized. Think about all the plays he is used to run where the defense is keyed on him ? It reminds me of last year where he was brought in to run and all defenses were totally focused on stopping the run. Linebackers were totally focused on stopping Taysom ! Think about all the possible pass plays ?

In game two they gave a little taste as to what they might be doing with Taysom this year and it seems like they have a plan to utilize him perfectly. I would still expect there to be a few Taysom passes in there every now and then. Kubiak doesn’t seem like an idiot.

he should have been the starting tight end 5 years ago. he should be on the field every play as an option

How long has Tysom been with the Saints ? This is not a new issue. He has consistently been brought in to run the ball in short yardage situations ! Do you not think the other team knows what is about to happen ?

I think Kubiak is gonna run Taysom into the dirt this year. He’s too valuable, too versatile, too athletic, and too old. He might not have too many years left. Although, he’s an athletic freak, so who knows. But I think they are gonna try to get the absolute most out of him this year in all kinds of ways. Him passing will be towards the shot ton of that usage, though.
