Tailgating in Tampa on Sunday

I know weather may impact things but are any groups of Saints fans planning to tailgate in any particular area on Sunday? For those that have been to games in Tampa before, any recommendations for pre-game bars/spots to go to?

Following, as I'll be there too.

Same. Hopefully some saints fans find a dry area and get together

I have my Saints pancho and a handle of Jack ready.

Will be there w/ my pancho and mud boots..parking lots are mostly grass fields and w/ 100% chance of rain showing it could get ugly quick..

Saw this on twitter earlier this week. Some of the players had liked it:

Need a little help. We are group of 60 saints fans heading to Tampa. Help spread the word, the unofficial who dat party at Fergs bar in St.Petersburg Saturday nite. See y’all at 7. #WhoDat

Why would they go all the way to St. Pete and that Ferg's when you could go to the Ferg's in downtown Tampa? LOL.
As far as tailgating, sounds like ponchos will be a must which is pretty crappy. It's normally an awesome tailgate setting, so hopefully the rain doesn't damper that too much. My suggestion would be to tailgate behind the RV parking lot, which is all concrete. We tailgate there every year. Lots of Saints fans are in the area and it's where all the bus loads of Saints fans go-to and get dropped at. Really is a great time. Off of Himes Ave, right behind One Buc Place. (Look for the giant Bucs flag).
Edit: Lot 14 is the lot I am talking about. All concrete, no white shrimp boot Nike's needed.

Done. I'm parking in 13 so it'll be a nice little walk.

Tampa was one of the worst places i've ever tailgated in my life. Not a drinking establishment within a 10 minute Uber. Not sure how that stadium continues to get Super Bowls and Nattys

You couldn’t be more wrong

We picked up a couple cases of beer last year and walked around the RV lot until we found some baws from Lafayette who had driven down. Offered to pitch in for the food they were grilling and had a good time with them before and after the game. I wanted to make the trip again this year but work inventory got in the way.
