LINK Never heard this quack Dr. Sills before but he sure is the NFL's head medical expert cuz apparently none of us "armchair doctors" can tell when we are getting our dicks pulled.

The NFL and NFLPA deemed that Newton "did not display 'gross motor instability,' which would have necessitated a locker room evaluation

The guy couldn't walk off the field on his own power.

How is that not what's stated above?

But Kamara had to be rushed to the locker room and have his helmet taken from him.

Really not a fan of stupid nicknames like scam newton. It's worse than when people call us stupid shite like the "stains" or "aints".

From what I recall Cam Newton was walking just fine and I believe he was told to go down by the coaches in his helmet. His appeared to be an eye injury, not a head injury.

Alvin Kamara got up and was wobbly, similar to Gronk this past weekend.
Not a conspiracy BUT they really do need to outline clear and concise rules to this stuff. They will, eventually. These are the pains of it being a newer rule.

Yeah you can say just go down to buy time. I don't mind that, it's smart.

What I do mine is like Seattle, Carolina skirted the line or deliberately broke the rule in terms of doing a concussion evaluation.

You say, well he had an eye injury. So why did they perform a concussion evaluation on him still? And since they did do one, him being vertically unstable, even as a farce to buy time, is skating the line of the rule ain't it?

Seattle's was less egregious than Carolinas and they got fined. Wilson was less likely to have sustained a concussion than cam as well.

Meh, I'm glad beat them with Cam on the field.

And in all fairness, if it were one of our guys with one drive to win, we would want him in.

To be fair, that nickname goes back to his time at Auburn when they did scam a MNC in Football.

I know you are a dumb falcons fan but this is stupid. Explain how you can have an eye injury and not a head injury from running head first into a 300 pound man. When nothing touched his eye and he wears a damn visor. There is no way anything "poked" him in the eye. His visor didn't break because you can see it is perfectly intact when he gets up. Also from every replay he never once has just one eye closed or points to one eye. He does have both eyes closed because he was probably seeing about 4 sidelines when he tried to walk back.
At the game it was clear he was dazed, on replay it is clear his bell is rung. No one is buying their lame excuse.

I dunno, he was grabbing his eye? He was wincing with 1 eye? He wasn't wobbly.

Just my opinion and what Cam said and what the team said but hey, I'll believe you instead.

Really.... didn't know someone could grab their eye...
Show one instance where he was even remotely pointing to his eye. Also again, let's all just ignored the fact that he was wearing a visor so nothing could poke his eye.
Oat one point a trainer is seen wiping his face near his eye. Replay show both eyes clinched closed after the hit when he was walking towards the sideline.

He wasn't wobbly

Also bullshite. I was at the game and when he first got up off the ground he was clearly dazed.
Cam's didn't even know what happened? He said he got poked in the eye maybe... or maybe his helmet somehow slid over his orbital bone and over his eye lid which is bullshite also. The point being he didn't know.

So you believe Cam and the team? A player that did not want to leave a playoff game and a team that was losing and had no choice but to keep him in the game? Also the NFL who already has a concussion problem and needs this to go away quickly?
Glad to see you have terrible judgement

Some of y'all just simply aren't being objective but I'll play. Watch the video:
LINK

Now, right after the hit:
A) He actually flips the Defender over him with his knees. That's important because concussed people are generally out for a second, they lose all functionality in their limbs. (25 second mark)
B) Notice as he gets up he's wincing his eye. Clearly something happened with his right eye. (12 second mark, 34 second mark, etc. Basically the whole damn clip he's wincing his eye.)
C) He then puts his arms out to get up and still is wincing. Concussed people aren't instantly getting up without wobbling.
D) He then starts walking over without wobbling to his sideline (51 second mark). My theory here is that the coaches in his helmet finally told him to fall to the ground to get that injury timeout. I can't prove this though.
E) While walking off, he points with his right hand to his right eye in his helmet (53 second mark).

All this being said, he had to come out 1 play and it was a crucial 3rd down play they got stopped on. Only Saints fans could get me to defend Cam Newton. Jesus.

Before all that crap he had his head down and got his neck compressed on a hit from a 300lb dude. Did you see the hit DD?
He was wearing a eye shield.
Thats what I saw and I think he got hit hard hard and got dizzy.

Concussed or not, I think we all can agree that their needs to be a standard and simple rule that EVERY player from EVERY team must follow, correct?

The problem is it just gets difficult. If it's your backup TE, sure, throw his arse in the tent. If it's your starting QB - ughhhh - I want my guy out there giving it his all.
