So respond to his post without the wire crutch. Why was he so scared of being cut if he had complete freedom to go where he wanted?
Winston looks decent as a backup but he has happy feet and crumbles under pressure. We saw it on Sunday.
We only kept him because he took the pay it and was advantageous to our cap situation since he was already under contract

Idk man. My only thoughts were that he had similar offers to the saints 4 mil. It's not like he's here on a min vet deal. I'm sure you'll agree that Jameis truly loves this team and didn't want to leave.

and that's fine. No one is going to have a problem with that.
It's you alluding to all the other NFL GMs whiffing on him that we pounced on.
