Lmao. Yea because our defense didn't go and make the turnovers. It was the Giants giving them to us. If our OLINE doesn't commit 100 penalties we would have beaten Arizona and SF.
We can play the what if game all day. At the end of the day the SAINTS are 1-4.

This! I'm not a Rattler fan, and stll have doubts about whether he's the qb of the future. But, given the lack of any substantial talent at wr and te, he's done well so far. He has real concerns re inability to lead a wr and makes poor choices in down and distance situations, But, he's shown great improvement in 5 games this season. Its a rebuild season, and at some point, the rookie needs to start a handful of games to evaluate his floor and ceiling and whether you need to draft a qb again sooner rather than later. This team is at least 2-3 years away from being a playoff contender so they need to play all the younger guys to see what they have.

Rattler doesn't make dumb mistakes
He moves the chain
He navigates the pocket well
He can scamper when things break
Can throw a rope
He's constantly under pressure with receivers that don't work to come back to him or work to get open. He's had a lot of dropped balls, too.
At least the pre snap penalties have faded
He isn't the problem to address
