I know Spencer has issues with accuracy, but at least he gets the ball out. Watching Justin Fields makes me appreciate that aspect of his game so much more.

Lol. Agreed. But considering Fields was the #11 pick in the 1st round and we got Rattlesnake in the 5th round, I'd call that a major win.

I consider it a big W for us that our 5th rd 150th overall QB pick is equal or even more promising than the 1st rd 11th overall QB pick

Who cares? Both are terrible lol. What’s a win is that our 5th rounder looks like he may be a DECENT backup. Saying that he’s a little better than a colossal bust is not the gotcha that y’all think it is

Fields should never have been a 1st rounder. The Bears drafted him for his running ability and figured they could turn him into a good passer. The same dumbass logic that the Colts did with Anthony Richardson.

Anyone with any sense should have known that both would be busts

Fields has had some good and bad games as a Jet. Same as Rattler. I would not confidently say Fields is better or worse. They're both QBs for rebuilding teams for a reason.

Fields was a great passer in college. He led the Big 10 in pass yards, pass TDs and QB Rating two years in a row with a near 70% completion rate.

He’s deserves blame but he has been in nothing but clown offenses. Don’t think he will get written off until he fails with a legit offensive mind

"Avoids the sack until he can't" Well said Rich Eisen. 9 sacks. Thank you, Spencer Rattler. Thank you Kellen Moore. Thank you Mickey for not hiring Aaron Glenn.

All Ohio State QBs look good in that system……..until they hit the NFL. The only ine that has looked decent is Stroud, and even he is up and down.

Fields in college, always had great WRs running wide open constantly…..so his completion percentage was a product of that. Since he’s been in the NFL, guys are very rarely WIDE open like that, and his lack of accuracy and his inability to process information quickly has been highlighted.

He’s an amazing athlete, but he is a terrible QB

A lot of people didn’t even know Fields was that dynamic of a runner coming out of college. He actually threw the ball back then.

He had plenty of dynamic runs in college, but he definitely did more of it in the NFL (to your point)…..but scouts definitely knew he was a dynamic runner.

Like I said before, he threw more at Ohio State because their receivers were always running wide open constantly. You can plainly see his inaccuracy and indecision since he arrived in the league……he can no longer rely on guys running free

Jeff Ireland and Phil Savage were both at the LSU,SC game last night if that hints on the direction they're looking in the draft
