Yeah that was complete bullshite . Clock was running and explanation had to be given to them. No way in hell they called a timeout the instant it went backwards out of bounds. That was some bullshite.

Atl coach thought that clock would stop when ball went out of bounds, but it doesn't.
I assume he told ref he would have called a TO had he known this, so refs gave him the TO and put the time back on the clock to when the ball went out of bounds.

10:1 ratio of penalties. Lopsided rules in effect for the Saints. Even Sanders commented on it earlier this season. We end up against it all the time. The last few weeks have been better, but I’m kinda beat down by the refs at this point.
