It’s his last year. Haener will be the #2 next year. The kid can clearly play. May never be a starter but he will be a good backup like Chase Daniel was.

What experiment? Having a backup QB?
People love using that phrase

was gassing up Haener all last fall & winter and during draft season and said when we drafted him that I'd not be surprised to see Jameis hit the road after Haener beats him out. Haener plays like a real quarterback, not simply a thrower of the ball.
Coaches disagree?

When a coach with a career 28% winning percentage disagrees with you it’s more likely than not a…good thing.
LOL.

That’s not the gotcha you think it is.
Very apt username. You do know you don’t actually have to do something to have an opinion that can be right on it, right?

Except you have no skins on the wall and absolutely nothing to make anyone think you are right about football coaching decisions at the highest level.
So I’ll ask again, what’s your professional coaching background lol

I mean… he’s the backup…
A backup playing against backups and still looks like shite. With his experience, he should be light years ahead of these defensive players. The dude is garbage.

It’s insane at one point in time this was guy the take over after Brees

Sean Peyton took Winston balls years ago.

It’s irrelevant to my opinion on the situation of someone with ~7 years of tape as a starter in the league being a non-starter when discussing whether or not said player is good. Marcus Mariota sucks, don’t need coaching experience to see that my guy.

You sure sound confident in your ability to watch film.
Have you ever applied to be an nfl assistant or coach? Or maybe even an analyst. Seems like you should be good at it?

See, this is where your argument goes circular. This is a tough L you have to hold now. You do know that more coaches than not think Jameis is trash, right?
Why isn’t he being pursued by other teams? Why did this same coaching staff leave him on the bench for Andy Dalton?
Things that make anyone that hasn’t had a lobotomy go “hmmmm…”

You that dumb to think there is a competition for starting QB????

Didn’t know you had connections around the league. You’re not only a film expert but you’re also Ian Rappaport 2.0! We have royalty amongst us.

shite. If I knew all that, I’d be a billionaire or coaching in the NFL.

Exactly, so looks like my opinion aligns with the majority of league coaches and executives.
You lost your own argument with your own points. That’s tough.

GREAT THROW INTO QUADRUPLE COVERAGE JAMEIS!
shite writes itself.

So why is Winston on the team?
Why is he apparently the #2 QB?
You are claiming that Saints coaches are willingly tanking their jobs by having Winston on the roster and the first backup. That’s odd. Maybe they just don’t like New Orleans anymore and want to get fired. This is a head scratcher. Luckily we have you here to clear it all up. I’m excited to hear the answers that you will provide all of us coaching novices.

A combination of red herring, straw man, and appeals to authority. Super impressive displays of logical fallacies that further this L you’re taking.
