2 weeks in a row we get into the 2 minute drill late and put TDs on the board. I counted at least 3 2nd and 10s today where we ran the ball. And we run for 2-4 yards at a time. Just setting up 3rd and 7 or 3rd and 9. Playcalling is too conservative IMO

Actually think Trevor runs the offense better than Jameis....not as physically talented, but better decsion making.

I think he is just better on the intermediate passing game. But putting him in a bunch of 3rd and longs is just bad coaching imo. Not trying to rag on Sean too hard, he is the best we will ever get, but run heavy on first and second down if you arent popping 5 and 6 yard gains, just puts alot of pressure on your qb and wrs to be almost perfect.

Also if he could learn to throw the ball away a bit more, then he’ll be fine

I’ll never understand the obligatory 2nd and 10+ run. Payton isn’t the only coach who does it. Lots do. Maybe they think they are going to surprise the defense, but how can you surprise someone when that’s a tendency? I’m sitting on my couch calling it. Surely a professional linebacker can also predict it.

I have no complaints with Trevor's last two games, outside of his awful 2 minute drill where he took 2 sacks and cost us a chance at a FG...now we would have missed the FG, so no harm, no foul.

Don't see "opening up the offense" for a guy who holds the ball too much.
