The problem with giving up even say 4th or 5th rd pick for him is that you basically only have him on a 1 year rental......His rookie contract is up after next season so you would have to fork over a good chunk of change to him to probably be one of the highest paid backups in the league nearing entry starter level pay, and that's only if he would choose to re-sign with us because he would be a free agent then

I don't hate the idea but I doubt if Griffin or his agent would go for it.

Not no but HELL NO...I think his play after his injury speaks for itself. He will never be the same QB he was his rookie season.
