He may break the record but not sure it'll matter when the Birds are up 31-21 late in the 4th.

Could be shaping up to be the best football year in history for Louisiana, imagine:

ULL- First bowl game appearance and win

LSU- Dominating undefeated season + National Championship in the Superdome over the gumps

Saints- Brees breaks passing yard record and the Saints win their second superbowl

Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!

Wow. Bama fan AND Falcons fan? How miserable of an existence can you have as a sports fan?

I wonder if he is related to the caller (Falcon's fan) on WWL radio about a week ago. He said "the Saints haven't beaten a good team on the road this season".

I said I figured it would be loud. I've just never heard a stadium get that loud for that continuous before. It was like that the entire game. Not sure if they had some sort of local media blitz calling for that or what. We'll see if it gets that lous for that continuous of an amount of time.

I guess you just blocked Sept 25, 2006 out of your memory...

Among other Saints games on national TV, like the 2009 NFC Championship, where the announcers practically had to yell over the crowd noise.

I watched the Falcons/Texans game, and it while it was fricking loud, it didn't compare to Saints games.

The only reason it was sustained longer than some Saints games is that the game was contested until the last play...
