forget last year, and the question of how culpable SP is for the lost season, but his seeming inability to admit failure in the Mark Ingram experiment, which could easily have cost us yesterday's game, borders on pathological.

Of course not, but the outrage toward Ingram seems largely misplaced. When will Payton see the Unfortunately Crimson Elephant in the room.

I'm having trouble agreeing with you out of principle.

Payton is not blind or dumb. He can read stats. He knows Ingram isn't producing.
There are reasons we don't know about.

Ingram is to Payton
What Jordan Jefferson was to Les Miles
Seriously
I wonder how much, if any, the connection between the Saints and Bama led to drafting Ingram in the first.
Seems like yesterday Saban was telling all the teams in the NFL how Marks knee was just fine. Seems like yesterday the Saints DC was helping bama with pointers.
Seems like just yesterday we bought the proverbial "Bill of Goods"

My hypothesis, he's keeping PT and Sproles healthy by limiting their snaps.
He's using Ingram because Robinson is raw and Cadet has issues and tends to fumble.

If Ingram can't truck a safety for 1 yard, what good is he?

Pass blocking. Something Sproles tends to fail miserably at.

louisiana football fans are sorry
SP won a SB for the sorry arse new orleans saints, he's 2-0. We won a hard fought game on the road, in the rain against what is probably going to be a top 3 defense. That is a low scoring version of the 49ers playoff loss, and yet...we won
jesus christ, go back to the rant

This is what I think. Just wish SP wouldn't do it on goal line offenses.

So that Super Bowl buys SP unlimited goodwill? Payton's decision making is not a valid topic?

Well running the best offense in the NFL for a few years including numerous records and a SB certainly buys him some goodwill, yes. Then coming off suspension and being undefeated certainly helps.

I never said that.

after a win, no it is not. Even so, what are you questioning? Oh, he's culpable for bounty gate...go frick yourself. I can't wait for LSU to get shite stomped by UGA this weekend so you fricking rantards can go cry elsewhere.

That's sad bro. Here's a word for you. Compartmentalization. Look it up.
FWIW, I never brought up that University 70 miles west.
