With third-down back C.J. Prosise healthy and playing, the #Seahawks released RB CJ Spiller, they announced.

Bad news for us. Spiller's contract had offset language, so as long as he's not getting paid by someone, that means we're getting less money back towards our cap next season. Not tons of money at stake, but probably ~$350k difference between his not playing the rest of the season vs. getting picked up tomorrow and playing the remainder of the season.

Seriously?

You guys made it seem like he was scoring 4 TDs/game with the Seahawks.

He scored 1 less TD with the Seahawks than he did with the Saints. The problem was that the Saints paid top 15 RB money to an injured player.

If he sucked, which it looks like he does, we should have tried to fill that role in the offseason instead of giving Cadet so many touches (or just not throw target Cadet so much)

I think one thing in all this is that we may have been a bit spoiled as Saints fans in our RB's. We have had compared to many teams(looking at you haters) a great run for years now. No matter how bad the team was we usually had some juice at that position. Muncie, Hilliard, Williams, Ironhead, Ivory, Sproles, Deuce, Mays, Thomas and others who have given good effort.

But Spiller looked like from day one a QB with a dead arm.

Aren't you leaving out the #2 overall pick in 2006 from USC.

Did he steal the Seahawks secret playbook as instructed by CSP? If so, then yes.
