They are no where near on edge or gun ho to get Watson like we are. Consensus is that you have to at least try since he’s a franchise qb but they will be bad for years and Texans will get really good picks out of them and will not be able to build up a roster for him.
If I’m the Texans, I want to trade him to the Falcons. Their picks will end up being the best. Maybe they are pushing Watson.

Reminds me of state losing a recruit to bama or lsu. State fans heartbroken while bama/lsu fans having to look up the kid's 247 page to see who he is.

Watson doesn't give a frick what the Texans think. He just wants out.
His agent & family are probably in his ear. Maybe even very close friends.

Has anyone figured out how the Falcons plan to afford Watson and Matt Ryan together? Plus all of the FA’s they will need that they promised him? I mean I’m sure there’s a way but it would have to absolutely destroy them down the road right?

Trust me they realize that. He’s the missing piece for us to be super bowl contenders. They still likely to be last in the division either way.
