It pisses me off how the Panthers claim him.

One of my favorite Saints ever.

He was an outstanding player but he was an even greater leader of men.

To the younger fans who didn't have the privilege to watch him, you missed a true professional in every sense of the word. Mills was the leader of the greatest LB unit to ever play the game.

Jim Mora said Sam Mills was the greatest player he ever coached. Mora coached three Saints NFL Hall of Famers. Sam also belongs there and hopefully soon.

The great Sam Mills! I hate how they have a statue of him in Carolina, but none in New Orleans. Smh. New Orleans should honor it's great players much more, they hardly have anything in the dome or around there for the Ricky Jackson's, Sam Mill's, and so on. They should have a statue of the dome patrol outside the stadium.

Had the pleasure of meeting Sam when he was with the Saints. He and his wife and kids came and took some underpriviledged children that I worked with at a Group Home to a haunted house on Halloween. I nicer guy you will never find. The funny thing was the Haunted House was run by the prisoners from Parish Prison. They were dressed in costumes and kept jumping out trying to scare the kids. They prisoners all kept freaking out when they saw Sam. "Hey it's Sam Mills"! lol

THIS! just use the pose from the picture, complete with the helicopter and call it a day. Greatest linebacker corps of all time.

Was also very fortunate to meet Sam Mills as a wee lad one random afternoon at Muss Bertolino. Dude was just getting some track work done and had his kid in tow (if memory serves) - was super gracious and even "raced" a few of my friends. Class act all around.
