To be fair, Spiller and Byrd should have worked out here. I still have no idea how Spiller especially didn't do well here. Only thing I even remember from him was the game winning catch in OT against the Cowboys.

Both were damaged goods right before/after coming here. Spiller never got right despite them claiming otherwise. Byrd started to get right, but wasn't the same as before.
That's not like Teddy whose injury is a couple of years back now and proved he could return to form.
