I don't currently live in NOLA but always go to at least one home game a year. Last year I got lucky and bought tickets to Saints-Rams (part 1, the good game, lol) well before anyone knew how big of a game it was going to be.

Being opening weekend I know prices are going to be higher but right now Stub hub and Vivid seats are wanting $120 for nosebleed terrace level seats. I'm going by myself so I just need 1 ticket.

I've never gone to an opening game, for those who go to a lot more games are prices likely to go down closer to game time? Should I try to wait it out or just accept the prices and buy a ticket now?

Yeah in general it should go down a bit about a week out. I would think you would be able to get in for about $80. It doesn’t help that Houston is so close so it may not go down a bunch.

If you don’t care where you sit and it’s just you, you could swing for the fences and wait til the day of to buy a ticket. You can probably find a desperate scalper willing to part with an extra ticket for cheap, and same goes for stubhub tickets at the last minute

You can probably get them for half that if you're patient enough to wait until about 10 minutes before kickoff.

Good suggestions. I doubt I'll wait until 10 minutes before kickoff (though I don't doubt they go down significantly at that point) as I like to be in the Dome for pregame.

I think I'm going to wait for now. I'll keep checking but I'm okay waiting until week of or even game day. I feel like I should be able to find something for under $120. As long as it's not one of the top 5 rows or so in the terrace I don't care too much where I sit.

If you all were in my situation (one seat, not crazy picky where) what price point would you wait for?

If you see something in the lower half of the terrace for under $100 I would jump on it.

My terrace tickets are on Ticket Exchange for $200/each. The recommended price was $220. Last year they were pretty spot on as to what they could sell for.
