How do you start a war when you're scared of guns?

White liberals might be scared sh*tless of guns but other liberal groups aren't. Blacks and Hispanics, even if they are Liberals, aren't afraid of guns at all. Never mind the Antifa and Black Lives Matters type groups that have already shown they have no aversion to violence.

There would be no lack of liberals who wouldn't love an excuse to resort to violence. You would probably even have a lot of white liberals who would jump at the chance to take out some wealthy people.

There is a 0% chance a true civil war like what happened before, happens again. The worst case scenario is Antifa crap happening all over the country and then the military gets sent in to stop that shite. That's the farthest itd ever get. 90% of the population is too comfortable with their lives to get involved with a civil war.

I think you underestimate just how quickly most of that comfort could go away if a true communist/socialist got in power.
quote:

Civil way would be very dangerous as it would open the door for other countries to come in and wreck shite. I just don’t see a true civil war - like the last one - happening with true armies, etc. maybe more antifa like actions but not all out

I agree that it wouldn't be anything like the first Civil War. It wouldn't be north vs. south or white vs black. There wouldn't be any true armies. It would essentially be various militia groups that would band together. It would be city vs. suburban/rural.

I agree that it would mostly be more antifa/black lives matter type groups vs proud boy/white redneck type groups on a nationwide scale.

I know for me I would go back to West Virginia. All white people, mountainous, an area no one really care about. It might be the safest place in the U.S. (at least outside of Hawaii or Alaska) during a Civil War. And you know no Antifa type groups would even dare try to invade those mountains, lol.

This is something I wish Trump would hammer the Democrats on. If the Democrats believe in diversity so much then how come it's only white countries that are having diversity forced down its throat.

There's a reason Democrats hate Russia so much. It's the one last major white country that stands in the way of their final solution for whites. It's the one major country that is majority white and has no qualms about it. It's the one major country that is majority white, proud of it and isn't going to let non-whites in.

If I was Trump I would mention ask Democrats every day why they aren't making Asian countries take non-Asians. Why African countries aren't taking non-Blacks. Why Middle Eastern countries aren't taking non-Muslims. Why are non-white countries being racist and not "embracing diversity"? It might wake some white people up to what the Democrats really want. A world that is eventually devoid of white people entirely.
I know it's something that some people think is over discussed but I do think we are closer to another Civil War than most people think we are. The reality is either side could start it as well:

Liberals could easily start a Civil War if they lose this election to Trump and/or mass deportations start.

Conservatives could easily start a Civil War if Liberals come after guns and/or abolish the Electoral College.

If any of these things happen I think they would be issues that the country would go to war with itself over. If a Civil War did start here in the U.S. would you do the following:

1) Stay in your area and fight.
2) Move to another area of the country and fight in that area (ex: you live away from family but would fight with them to protect them).
3) Stay in your area but not fight.
4) Move to another area of the country to avoid fighting.
5) Move out of the country.

Some states you don't even have to change your registration.

True but this is in regards to the majority of states that have closed primaries. That's another issue I have a major problem with, all states should have open primaries as many times the primary is more important than the general election.

I still remember the one election cycle I was registered as a Libertarian so of course I had no say in either the Republican or Democrat primary. That essentially forces everyone to stay in the two party system. If we ever want more than just the rigged two party system open primaries is one of the first things that needs to be done.
quote:

The last time we tried this we pushed Obama past Hillary because he had no chance of winning.

Very different time, the country is much more partisan and divided now. Plus Obama would be considered almost in the Middle in today's Democrat party.

The thing with Obama was that he was such a good speaker so it would be important to push a candidate who isn't such a good speaker.

Plus don't ignore the fact that Republicans nominated IMO the worst candidate in my lifetime in John McCain. I mean even I just held my breathe when I voted for McCain. Literally the easiest candidate for Obama to defeat. Trump thankfully is a much different and much more difficult challenge.
With none of the Socialist/Liberal/Democrat candidates really able to separate themselves yet, should Conservative voters try to beat them at their own game and try to sabotage their primary?

Completely legal of course, but knowing that we are voting for Trump, should we all temporarily change our voter registration from Republican to Democrat? That would allow us to vote in their primary and either do one of two things.

1) Vote and get nominated a candidate who has no chance of defeating Trump.

or

2) In the very least, prolong the primary so that Democrats have to spend more time and money fighting each other weakening whoever is left to face Trump.

There's no doubt in my mind that Socialists/Liberals/Democrats would have no problem doing this. Is this something that Conservatives should organize?

I'm originally from West Virginia and with what liberals are doing to civil discourse in our society as well as all the division they are sewing I am thinking more and more about moving back to WV.

It's an incredibly beautiful state that I love. Yes it has its problems but the positives largely outweigh the negatives.

I just hope everyone else keeps thinking its a complete sh*thole right out of deliverance. Stay away, go ruin western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. At the end of the day if it does get really bad in this country West Virginia might be one of the few places not burning to the ground.

Good suggestions. I doubt I'll wait until 10 minutes before kickoff (though I don't doubt they go down significantly at that point) as I like to be in the Dome for pregame.

I think I'm going to wait for now. I'll keep checking but I'm okay waiting until week of or even game day. I feel like I should be able to find something for under $120. As long as it's not one of the top 5 rows or so in the terrace I don't care too much where I sit.

If you all were in my situation (one seat, not crazy picky where) what price point would you wait for?

Saints-Texans Tickets

I don't currently live in NOLA but always go to at least one home game a year. Last year I got lucky and bought tickets to Saints-Rams (part 1, the good game, lol) well before anyone knew how big of a game it was going to be.

Being opening weekend I know prices are going to be higher but right now Stub hub and Vivid seats are wanting $120 for nosebleed terrace level seats. I'm going by myself so I just need 1 ticket.

I've never gone to an opening game, for those who go to a lot more games are prices likely to go down closer to game time? Should I try to wait it out or just accept the prices and buy a ticket now?
Never mind they'll keep at least one extra WR as long as Thomas holds out. No way they are letting go of Trequan.
I know Barkley is good but I think he's going to be a bust compared to what people are expecting of him this year. In fantasy he's clearly looked at as #1 but he literally has nothing around him. Look at what he has:

A QB that is well past his prime and can't throw much better than his brother when he retired.

A WR with no Odell Beckham Jr. and now an injured Sterling Shepard.

Literally Barkley is the only offensive weapon they have and everyone will be able to zero in on him.

Kamara is going to blow away Barkley this year and have a huge year.
