Saints Risky Business

Marshon Lattimore: awful hamstring in college—-> healthy until the trade to Washington. All Pro caliber corner for 7 years.
Drew Brees: Shoulder was held together with duck tape. HOF QB
Ryan Ramczyk: Hip and Torn Labrum in college. All-Pro RT with the saints.
Chase Young: injury riddled career who turned it around with the Saints.
On the Other hand
Payton Turner: foot injuries in college. Bust
Marcus Davenport: Shoulder injury in college wasn’t quite injury prone but because injury prone in the NFL
Michael Thomas: did not miss a game in college. OPOY then injuries took over.
Long story short: the saints took risks that worked out and didn’t. It’s just the nature of the game. All this fricking crying and told you so’s do nothing when not a single 2026 draft prospect played a game. Good lord people I didn’t know we had so many people playing the role of God and determining how everyone’s career is going to go.

There's a faction of this board that went from 6 to midnight as soon as the news broke bc they saw their opportunity to say "I told ya so"
Pretty sickening actually

Why did you ignore Shough's entire injured college career?

Broken bones aren’t concerning

Probably because we have a 9 game sample size, and literally nobody can predict what his career will look like from either production or injury aspect??
Just a thought

Did he not get injured in college multiple times in multiple seasons? If so, then he's injury prone.

Another good example that’s heading the right direction. 9 game sample size but promising
