Just announced on SNF
ETA: reasoning being it starts at the same time with GB/CHI & SEA/SF since those 3 games will determine the order of the top 3 seeds in the NFC playoffs
ETA 2: NewOrleansSaints.com link if you need it

Good thing for us. Otherwise, Seattle would have known whether they could rest their starters.

consolation prize for NBC
you know they were hoping for a Steelers loss & a Browns win today so they could put Steelers/Browns in SNF for the AFC North Championship

which is the exact reason why the NFL started doing this
about the 1 thing Goofdell has done that I believe is a legit good idea

Rest the starters coach
you know there's still a chance we can still fall to the 3 seed right?
no way you're going to rest your starters and potentially lose a 2nd home game b/c you didn't want to put your top guys at risk
the 2nd home game is worth the risk

No, I guarantee it was going to be WAS-PHI regardless because a Philly win today would have made that game the defacto NFC East title game.
Key words there? NFC East
