It doesn't appear Latts on his way out so Adebo, Latt, and Koolaid at CBs. Mathieu and Alonte Taylor at Safeties.....of course you have Yiadom as a 4th CB and Howden as a rotational/reserve Safety. Anyone have any thoughts on that lineup. The Saints have quietly put together a very talented and deep DB group......as far as DL This guy the Saints drafted "Boyd 6-4/320" appears a perfect complement to Bresee at DT. At DE of course you have Cam and Granderson with Turner, Foskey and Chase Young.... So, thoughts on the secondary and D line, sorry if already answered

Yiadom isn’t on the team anymore. He signed with SF.

Assuming you’re right about Taylor yeah it’s not bad at all.

Gray, Abram, Amadi, Jean-Charles provide some decent depth at DB

It’s good we have so many DBs because we have no pass rush.

I remember when the Saints trotted out UDFAs at CB. I want 4 starting CBs at all times

I think Latt's on his way out, unless you've seen something this morning that leads you to think otherwise. And nothing DA or Mickey say about him can be trusted--they could just be driving his price up. Not sure why you think Taylor's moving to safety either. I think he could play there, but he was already pissed about being a slot corner instead of an outside one. Safeties have even less value now. Not sure he'd be all that cool with that either.

And Saban said Kool Aid could wind up playing safety himself. But there are less traditional position roles in today's NFL. Guys move all over and their roles are quite as defined as they used to be. But I do agree that we have a really good DB group right now as it stands that should be a strength. I think it will still be good even if we trade Latt. As long as they stay healthy, of course.

Certainly can't count on it being back at his age, but cam playing on a bad ankle hurt us there this season. Hopefully he's back to normal 1 more season

I love Cam! But he’s done. He started declining a little towards the end of the year in 2022 and last year he was completely ineffective. He played standing up and basically ran straight up the field and took himself out of the play. At this point, Tanoh Kpassagnon is the better player.

I think Boyd will work himself into a starter sooner rather than later, hopefully by next season. Taylor is staying at CB, he has said time and again he isn't a Safety. It was said a few times that Kool Aid can slide into slot, and if so that would be huge.

Yes, Cam is on is last leg. Have to hope Foskey or Young can be solid opposite Granderson. If so, good DL and good secondary.
