Lets get this out the way. Fitzgerald is a Hall of Famer.
However, going into last year (week 3 early in season) he hadn't broken 1,000 yards in 4 years. I'm simply stating that Fitz is on the downside of his career (11 year veteran) and he destroyed Conte.
Conte is slow, he's white, he's not a hitter, he has subpar cover skills, he was part of a lousy defense last year, and he was a big reason why it was that way. 11 career picks as a safety in 5 seasons of play.
Why are we interested in this guy?

Conte had 8 INT's the past 3 seasons(including vs Saints back in Sept to help win game)....how many Saints can say that??

When did I say that the standard the Saints have for interceptions is good? How can you say 11 interceptions over a 5 year span is acceptable for a full time starter on your defense? The words I put down are straight FACTS that cannot be argued. So there is that.
I am thrilled he resigned with the Bucs. That just insures that their defense will continue to be bad as long as he is a starter.
