Saints & Texans cancel joint practices
I thought it was weird to have joint practices against a team you have to play during the season anyway
quote:
Allen told reporters at his press conference after the Saints beat the Los Angeles Chargers 22-17 on Sunday: "They had a lot of guys get injured this past week and weren't sure that we were going to be able to have productive joint practices.
"We thought it was better to go ahead and cancel it and just play the game. Sometimes those things happen, and we were both in agreement with that. We'll work on our own and we have a lot to focus on, a lot of improvements to make."

Saints are joined at the Hip with the Texans so to speak in the NFL. Even the Cowboys to a extent.
Closes teams tend to rely on each other when it's needed.
P.S.- I'm sure those practices were going to be pretty basic.
