They have done this almost every season in their history, so it comes as no surprise. They also bought into their own hype, especially on defense. This is still a great team.

The OL shat the bed the worst. Unbelievably pathetic play by all of them.

In the end , it is one game and the Saints still control their own destiny for the division with a two game lead over the Panthers.

They will right it and still be a contender.

This is why I hate bye weeks.

Only part i disagree with is you saying its a saints thing to do this. This is the nfl, every team has these kind of games

Yep and Ive never understood it. I still get aggravated about losing to the Rams in 2011 when they were like 1-6 or 1-7. We win that game and the 49ers would have come to the Dome instead of us having to go to them. I think we win that playoff game if we play in the dome.
